Designed to fly in all weather, from land or sea, WaveAerospace’s VTOL Huntress Turbojet gets eyes on a target faster than any other rotorcraft.
TIP Digital’s WaveAerospace Begins Pre-Orders for Its 4th Aircraft
WaveAerospace designs aircraft that can fly safely and reliably in extreme weather when other aircraft can’t fly. They have just launched their fourth commercial aircraft
Wave Aerospace Demonstrates Huntress for USGC Academy
Hi-speed X-wing drone aims for all weather
“Spotted in the halls was this unique jet-powered X-wing VTOL UAV from US-based Wave Aerospace which can fly in Force 10 storms and extreme weather that would ground other UAVS and piloted aircraft. The X-6A Huntress II features a central jet engine and electric propulsor on the wingtips to give fine control. With a top speed of Mach .3, a payload of 50kg and an endurance of 120mins, Wave are aiming the X-6A at ISR, tactical logistics, communications – and airspace denial – using a drone to intercept and identify other intruders.”
WaveAerospace is Building Drones for Extreme Weather using the Series 1780
“WaveAerospace builds the aircraft that carry our customer’s critical payloads. What differentiates our aircraft from all other small unmanned aerial systems (“sUAS”) is that our aircraft can fly 24/7/365 in almost any weather conditions. In other words, “We fly during the storm when we are needed most—not after.”
We deliver a critical organ for transplant; we find a lost child at night; we mark the location of a sinking ship faster than a full-size Seahawk helicopter can. And we do it 24/7/365 before the storm subsides.
